These are just some of the stories Dr. Dipinto will tell as he uses them to explore science, social studies, and literature. Dr. Vito M. Dipinto is Associate Professor, Curriculum & Instruction/Science Education, at National-Louis University where he is a tenured senior faculty member. An educator for over 20 years, he has been a classroom teacher in Montessori pre-primary and elementary and a science teacher for grades K-8. Besides being a professional storyteller, Dr. Dipinto is a professional clown and did many workshops, play shops, and performances at the Northbrook Public Library collaborating with the Children’s Library Department. He was also the featured storyteller at the 2006 Imagination Conference sponsored by National-Louis University. He is past chair of NLU’s Science Education Department and began his professional career as an organic chemist doing research for industry and the government. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome! CPDU’s will be available.
